Hi there! I’m Birdie, but my foster mom calls me Pretty Bird because, well, I’m just that cute!

I didn’t have much human contact before I came here, so it’s taken me a little while to start trusting people.  But with lots of patience and time, I’ve started to come out of my shell.  I’m looking for a forever home with someone who can give me the same kind of love and patience.

I really need a doggy friend to help me learn how to be a dog.  I also need a fenced in yard to play in, because I’m still not so good on a leash and might run off if I get scared.

Once I feel safe, I’m a playful pup with lots of energy! And at the end of the day, I love to snuggle up with my foster mom.  If you think you could be the one to give me a forever home, I promise to give you lots of love in return!

Our $275 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
