Tessa is truly a person’s best friend .  She's an about 2y old and 40 lbs. Norwegian Elkhound Mix.

She is almost always by your side or laying at your feet. She will be
very loyal to her person. She is very affectionate and still puppy-playful. She loves her toys and treats.

Tessa has had some training; will walk by your side, sit, and go down. Working on stay and place.

Wouldn't do well because of her exuberance and size with very young children or small dogs.   Does well with cats. I think she would do well with a dog her size.

She frequently gets the zoomies which is fun to see. She is not crate trained. She is definitely potty trained but there is a doggy door
which she uses when needed.

She would love a large yard with a 6 foot fence. She would love to go on long walks. Might even be a jogging partner.

If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
