FENCED YARD and COMPANION DOG REQUIRED
Montana is a small, shy and sweet girl who is a retired breeder. She is friendly and playful with other dogs and humans once she feels safe .
She is crate trained. Her crate is her safe space where you can often find her snoozing (and snoring).
She has been doing well working on her house-training. She does not have any accidents in her crate. As long as she is taken out regularly, she rarely has accidents in the house, while out of the crate. She’s still learning this new lifestyle, since she was previously a breeder dog.
She is still learning her manners and to walk on a leash.
She will need a home with a secure fenced yard and minimal stairs.
A companion dog is also required to help her continue to adjust and gain more confidence.
Familiarity with the breed is recommended since French Bulldogs tend to require a bit more maintenance (cleaning wrinkles, small breed food, recognizing and avoiding breathing issues, needing help with stairs and being lifted onto higher furniture, etc.)
If you are interested, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Montana’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
