"Who is scruffy-looking? Me?"
Elton John is a 2 year old Chihuahua mix who weighs about 12 pounds. He came out of a bad situation and is looking for a better life. Elton needs a patient home. While energetic and friendly, he is not yet comfortable with human touch or being on a leash. Since he isn't great at a leash yet, his home needs at least a 4 foot fence . He is also working on potty training and has made great strides. He will bark when he needs to go outside.
He loves to play with other dogs and can be a little rough, so a companion dog of a similar or larger size will be required . He also loves chewing on toys, being near his foster humans, and eating treats. Apply for this adorable "Rocket Man" today!

Elton John’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
