Meet Crystal Gail !!
Crystal was rescued from a hoarding situation. Crystal was pregnant at the time of rescue and luckily was able to have her babies in rescue. She was an AMAZING mommy!! She is guessed to be 2-3 years old and it is believed she has had several litters of puppies. She has raised her last set of puppies and is spending her time with me getting her girlish figure back;).
Crystal has settled in very well to the good life!! Her ABSOLUTE favorite place to be is on the couch or in bed UNDER a blanket. She is potty trained, but will require a fenced yard, currently she will not walk on a leash, however she is very smart and does learn to trust, I am sure with work she will learn to walk on a leash. Honestly the cold weather is the only thing holding us (me) back.
During Crystal's first week or so with my family she would bark at anyone coming into the room. She has since learned it is okay and no longer barks. It may take her time to learn your home noises, but again she does figure it out. Never any aggression, just a few barks.
She sleeps through the night and even loves to sleep-in on the weekends. She gets along great with my three dogs. Never any aggression and eats well with other dogs. I do not have a cat, but again no aggression, I would think she would do fine. Crystal is a Rat Terrier mix who is full grown and under 20 lbs. She does fine in a crate, however I am able to leave her to roam the house during outings, no issues at all. Again, anywhere cozy with a blanket she can cover with is where she wants to be!!
My perfect home for Crystal Gayle would be one with a fence, a home where couch and bed sleeping is allowed and a home willing to work with her using a leash.
Crystal will be spayed and microchipped on February 19th and will be able to go to her forever home a day or two after, pending no complications.

Crystal Gail’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
