Meet Chantilly, a petite 15-pound, 8 months old corgi/aussie mix. This happy girl is named after the iconic Big Bopper song, "Chantilly Lace," and true to her namesake, she'll wiggle her way right into your heart with every step.
While her spirit and spunky attitude knows no bounds, her body is slightly limited. She has cerebellar hypoplasia, a condition that affects her coordination and balance. It does not cause pain. It does not worsen over time. She is fully mobile and independent. She is able to potty outside and is working on potty training like any puppy. It simply means she lacks coordination, especially when she gets super excited .
Chantilly’s ideal forever home is one where stairs are minimal, and carpets or rugs would be a plus to provide her with the stable footing she needs to navigate her world with ease. She has no limitations, but her future family will make sure her living conditions are safe for her wiggles and wipeouts.
While leash walking may not be her strong suit, she makes up for it with her playful spirit and the joy she brings to every moment with her wiggle butts. She loves playing tug and playing chase with other dogs. Don’t be fooled, she can be quite quick when she gets those little legs going.
This little girl deserves the very best life and someone who falls head over heels for her wiggles. Please consider adopting this special girl.
