FENCED YARD ( NO ELECTRIC FENCES ) AND SMALL COMPANION DOG REQUIRED

Meet Nicki, a beautiful 5 year old, 11 pound Shih Tzu.

Nicki was from a breeder with no love or human touch.

She is very shy and has been in a foster home for a few months and her foster has helped her to trust, but her new family will need to continue her trust training.  She has come a long way since being in her foster home.

Nicki is so sweet, but is just now understanding how to love and be a family dog.  She does not like sitting in your lap, but once she feels safe with you, she may lay close to you.  This will be the best time to love on her and gain her trust.  She will allow you to pick her up and this helps build her confidence.  We are looking for a patient family for Nicki.
 
Her perfect adopter would be home most of the day to continue her trust training and treating her like a queen !!  Your other dog, will help Nicki learn to be a family dog.
 
If you're not able to provide for her as described above, we will not process your application.  It is mandatory that Nicki have a SECURE FENCED YARD and a COMPANION DOG her size (no large dogs).
 

If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Nicki’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
