Kazuri is estimated to be a five-year-old, 19 lb., male Shih Tzu mix.  True to his name, he is “small and beautiful”. 

Once he decides to trust a person, he has so much love to give and wants a good belly scratch, a nice walk around the neighborhood, or a comfy spot next to you on the couch (or in your lap).  However, he is scared to meet any new people and puts up a tough front, so it will most likely take a few days to weeks to warm up to his new person, but he guarantees the wait will be worth it! 

Kazuri gets along well with all dogs he has met, and plays well with our smaller dogs. 

He is mostly potty trained (just needs to be let out on a schedule (and encouraged to go even when the grass is dampJ).  He sleeps through the night in his bed next to ours, but prefers to join the human bed.  He has not been around children, and would probably be best in a 1-2 person household, without a lot of people coming and going.  He also has not yet been around any cats.  Kazuri will be a loyal companion to someone who can give him a chance.

Kazuri’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
