Archibald "Archie" here. I am a 10 year old Bassett/Terrier mix. I'm medium in size (about 35 lbs). I ended up in rescue when my owner passed away. I'm looking for someone to love. I would do best in a low key home. I'm good with kids, but prefer older ones who will be gentle with me. I'm good with other low key dogs and probably cats too. I'm housebroken and crate trained. I don't care much for being on a leash, but my foster family is working with me on that. I love to ride in the car! I'm a very confident and quirky dog! I can do stairs, but at my age, I really don't want to if I don't have to! I just want to lay in sun and be with my family...a nice bone would be great too! Do you have room for me? 

Please note Archie is also Heartworm positive and going through treatment. He will need to be kept calm for a few months.

Archibald’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
