Hawthorn
8 weeks old
fence required
In Celtic Mythology, the Hawthorn tree symbolizes love and protection. Which is perfect, because Hawthorn is the tiniest of his brothers and is all about love love love.
Unlike his brothers, he isn’t a daredevil. He prefers to stick around the humans while he happily chews on a stick or a leaf. He loves to lay in our laps as his brothers play with the big dogs or explore the yard. Don’t get me wrong, he does love a good game of tug and needs time dedicated for plenty of zoomies and exercise, but he generally prefers to bumble around taking in the sights and, like a typical pittie, prefers to sleep on the humans.
He is still very young though, so his personality is just starting to form.
He is looking for a home who is ready to take on puppy life: potty training; teething and chewing will all be part of who he is for a little while. Since he’s so young, he’ll need someone who is home most of the day to take him potty and keep him active. But he promises to balance those things by giving you lots of sweet kisses and puppy love.
Most of all, he needs a home with someone who understands the stigma around his breed and is eager to show the world just how wrong they are about pit bulls. There is a saying that goes like this: You’ve never known love until you’ve been loved by a pibble.
