Please meet Mr. Checkers!! He’s the sweetest little 7 year old Chihuahua mix, weighing 10 pounds. He came to us from a rural Missouri shelter where his owners sadly dropped him off. Checkers is very friendly and lovable and absolutely LOVES to be petted. He would be happiest in a home with another small dog for companionship, a secure fenced yard, no small children, and no large dogs. Checkers is healthy, current on his immunizations, heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, and he has recently had his teeth cleaned.

Checker’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
