Meet Beasley! This sweet little boy is obsessed with SNUGGLING and will burrow under the covers to cuddle with you. He would love to find a forever home where he is allowed to sleep on the furniture, especially the "people beds."
Beasley is 3 years old, about 9 lbs, and possibly a Rat Terrier mix. He has adorable scruffy whiskers and a white tufted mohawk on his head. He enjoys spending time with his family, giving kisses, and sniffing around the yard. He's a very friendly boy and enjoys meeting new people. He would be good with kids or other small/medium sized dogs (he has not been cat tested). He does not appear to have learned many commands yet, and he would benefit from a training class to work on some of his "small dog behaviors" like jumping up on people. He will need a secure car carrier when traveling with his new family because he keeps trying to climb into his foster mom's lap while she is driving.
Beasley came to rescue when his owner could no longer care for him due to health issues. He is potty trained except for the occasional tinkle when he is very excited, like when his foster mom comes home from work. He will cry in his crate for a while, but eventually settles. You can tell that he is used to spending lots of time with his owner, so he would love a family where someone is home with him for the majority of the day. Small dogs can live well into their teens, so please keep that in mind when planning for a future with Beasley.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Beasley’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
