**FENCED YARD** NO CHILDREN **
Meet BECKY BOO who came to us from an overcrowded Animal Shelter.
She is a 4 yr old, 12 lb, Beautiful Tan/Cream/Blonde - Lhasa Apso / Shih Tzu Mix!!
Becky Boo was an abuse case and needed one on one care, so she came to Needy Paws Rescue from overcrowded shelter where the foster family worked with her to build trust. She is now a sweet girl overcoming the abuse.
- Becky Boo is TYPICAL Shih Tzu, "Stubborn" if you have Shih Tzu experience, you know what I mean!
- NO Children . Because of her past history of mental/physical abuse.
- She LOVES LOVES LOVES being outside in the fenced yard where she explores and just has fun running around. She's housebroken and barks/cries/whines when she wants to go outside, which is often!
- She walks well on leash.
- She can be a Barker when she hears noises or sees other people/dogs outside. She still has trust issue with other people and needs to continue to learn people are good.
- She gets along with dogs her own size.
- * She plays Very Rough with dogs, barking constantly, biting and some dogs don't understand and are afraid of her. She's got the Alpha mentality along with being somewhat of a "Female Bully/Pushy" dog with other dogs.
- She's easily correctable and does try to please you on corrections.
- When I'm on my laptop at table, she likes to lay on chair underneath table next to me (see photo).
As Becky Boo becomes more and more trusting, she seems to become more loving.
LOVES BELLY RUBS
and when lays next to you will roll over for those!! She will lay on blankets, dog beds and will lay on your bed at night at your feet. She's enjoying the Good Life!
Foster Parents will be very particular about who can adopt her, since she will need a very Patient, Loving Home that she can feel safe from her previous life.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Becky Boo’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
