Joy is a Joy! This friendly and affectionate female border collie mix is about 6 months old and looking for her forever home. She was saved from being euthanized right before Christmas from a rural high kill animal control with her sister. They both are very smart girls and learning basic commands and housebreaking in their foster home. Joy is dog and cat friendly, most likely kid friendly as well. She just wants to be with her people.  She has mild separation anxiety and will cry and bark when left in a create, so not fit to be in an apartment setting. She does sleep quietly in her crate at night as long as she can see her humans. She is shy around bigger dogs but warms up once she knows they just want to play. She is out going with smaller dogs and people. She is a puppy with high energy breeds mixed in her, but so far she is a calm, curious puppy who will need ongoing training and socialization in her forever home. She is not leash trained yet so a fenced in yard will be prefered.
