Seelah is a 2.5 year old, female, Manchester Terrier/Chihuahua mix.  She was surrendered to Needy Paws when her owner’s health began to fail.   Seelah weighs about 8 pounds and is as sweet as can be.  Naturally, her world has been turned upside down with losing her home.

Seelah is dog and cat friendly.  Bigger dogs scare her a bit as she has never been around large dogs.  She enjoys playing with dogs of similar size as her.  She is housebroke and trustworthy when left alone inside her foster home.  She is slow to warm up, but once she does she enjoys getting snuggles.  She is learning to walk on a leash and making slow progress.  Young, rambunctious kiddos tend to be a bit much for her and send her searching for a place to hide.  A home without kids is a requirement for Seelah.  She will need a patient family that will allow her the time she needs to settle in and earn her trust.

If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Seehal’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
