Hi my name is Bellflower or “Belle” and I am a Schnauzer Mix approximately 5 or so years old and I weigh about 12 pounds.

I came from a house where I lived with a LOT of dogs so having another dog to keep me company would be great. At first I’m a shy girl and I can sometimes be a little nervous when I first meet you.  I would also need a completely secure fenced yard where I can explore at my leisure because I have not learned how to walk on a leash yet.

I am a very sweet girl and I follow my foster mom around the house and sit with her on the couch.  I do well with the other 3 small dogs in the house but I’m not sure how I’d do with bigger dogs.  I don’t play much but maybe that’s because I just never learned what play is, but I’m learning.  I am also good with cats.

Belle is mostly potty trained but has not learned how to signal that she needs to go outside so she’s taken out often. Her foster mom is home a lot so she’d probably do best in a home where someone is retired or works from home. She is ok in a crate at night but is also fine if kept in bedroom at night.

She’s a quiet girl and would do best in a home with no children or older children. She takes a little while to warm up to but then she’s a very sweet girl.
