Esme is a beautiful female, 3 yr old mini Australian Shepherd/Sheltie mix .  She’s a happy, loving, affectionate and well behaved dog.  She’s a teenager w/a lot of energy and a dog who needs a lot of physical and mental activity since she’s bred to WORK.  She’s sweet, smart, housebroken, knows how to sit, shake and a sieve for more training.  She was well loved and well taken care of but surrendered by a family w/3 young children.  She needs a family or individual who is at home a lot and physically active. She’s great w/older children(ages 6 and up).  She loves toys, has a very strong prey drive so a fenced yard is highly recommended. She gets along well w/other dogs, unsure about cats.  She’s well socialized and a doggy companion would be a plus.  A family or individual who knows and understands the breed is also a plus.  She is NOT a dog who can be crated or left alone all day.

Esma's adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
