**FENCED IN YARD & COMPANION DOG IN HOME REQUIRED**

Pooka is a 7 year old female Bichon.  She’s spent her life in a breeding facility and is beginning to appreciate her new life as a family pet!  Pooka is friendly if a bit timid at times.  She’s adjusting quickly to the “good life”.  She likes her food and treats but isn’t sure what the toys are for just yet..  Pooka is affectionate & will ask for belly rubs.  If you stop petting her she will nudge your hand to continue.    She’ll also sleep happily next to you on the couch.

Pooka’s hair is growing back nicely after a bad haircut from the breeder.

Pooka doesn’t yet walk on a leash and will need a secure fenced yard.  She’ll also need another confident dog in the home to teach her “How to Dog”.  Pooka will use potty pads but is not 100% housebroken yet.  She’ll need someone patient to help her adjust to her new life and world.  Are you that someone?

Pooka’s adoption fee is $200.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
