Toluca is a cute little Chihuahua who currently weighs 11 pounds and we’re guessing to be young, maybe a year or 2 old. 

He didn’t have the best start to his young life as he along with 9 other little Chihuahuas were pulled from a condemned home.  All of these little ones are the sweetest dogs who want nothing more than to be loved and they have a lot of love to give back in return.

Toluca is a fun friendly little guy and sweet as can be. He gets along great with the other small dogs in his foster home. Not sure how he’d do with bigger dogs since he hasn’t been around them. Does fine with the cats in his foster home as well. He has some energy so he would do best with a fenced yard and I highly recommend having another dog for him to play with. He’s always had dogs around so it could be hard on him not to have a dog friend. Hasn’t been around kids. 

He is mostly potty trained when taken out on a regular schedule. He’s trying to learn how to tell you he needs to potty, but until then he goes out every couple of hours. He sleeps in his crate at night and during times when foster mom is out he stays gated in the kitchen. He loves his little stuffy toys to play with. Working on leash training and doing ok. 

If you have an empty lap that needs a lap dog, Toluca is your guy, since that’s his favorite spot to sit. Thanks for checking this little one out !!

Toluca’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
