Hi Everyone! I'm
BREA, but my foster parents call me
"BREE"
and when they do, watch out, I will come running!! I'm the
CUTEST CHIHUAHUA MIX
you've ever seen if I say so myself! I'm
6 lbs
and proud of it!! I'm a
1 yr old
but I'm still full puppy energy so don't call me an adult!
I had a really horrible beginning stuck in deplorable conditions with 9 other Chihuahua mixes. There was a lot of bullying there and some biting, and luckily the house has now been condemned and Needy Paws has been a great comfort for all of us.
I'm about 95% housebroken because every once in awhile, I have to pee and I forget to tell my parents. They have been very attentive and make me go outside when they catch me looking for a spot in the house and usually I hit one of the potty pads.
I have some furry friends in the house with me and I love having dogs my size around.
Also, if you think you'll use those stupid low old wooden gates to block a room, think again! I can jump up, swing by my front paws until I get one of my back legs up and over. AND I can walk right thru those white metal gates with bars. Hey, whatever works!
They do put a higher corral fence around the front door because I do like to dart out the door!!
Because we never knew how much food we were getting, I eat extremely fast. Now my parents feed me using a "slow feeding bowl" which really aggravates me because I can't eat as fast but I'm still trying!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Snuggling and being with my humans. I could lay in their arms all day! My mom calls me a "velcro" dog!
I've not been around kids, but I think I would do ok with them as long as they didn't hurt me.
I would really prefer a family that is home with me all day. When my parents leave, I do cry/scream because I don't like being away from humans, but I'm hoping in time I will feel a little more secure knowing that they are coming back.
My "Perfect Family" would be home with me most of the day, have a furry companion for me about my size, and a fenced in secure yard.
