Meet Kiona > She Is a very beautiful husky with the most gorgeous ice blue eyes. Kiona is a very loyal, smart, eager to please well behaved dog with so much potential. She's potty & crate trained. Medium energy/not overly energetic.  She's good with cats but best with not scardy cats. She may chase a scared cat but She's afraid of a bossy cat. ;)  She does not chew up the house or do anything naughty.

We have 4 young children ages 2, 2, 4, & 6. We did give her the first day in a kennel to adjust to them. but she's done fantastic with them.

She's unsure of new people but anyone can win her over with a quick snack. She is *extremely* food motivated and clearly anyone with food is friend.

Now her really only flaw.. she has never met dogs til about this month. She's very bossy. Like a very bossy girlfriend that constantly tells you what to do. It is something we are working on and she is out and about with our 4 dogs and gets to play with our neighbors dog. But not without her constantly trying to be a boss or the fun police. So if she's adopted out with another dog it would be best to be a submissive male or a family that will later consider adopting a puppy friend. She could also be a single dog.

She's good on a leash and enjoys walks. We have a privacy fenced in yard and she's never tried to leave. She does not like to stay outside long though. She goes potty and comes back inside.

I would like Kiona's new home to have a fenced in yard & not be in a large apartment complex

Kiona’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
