Yabbi is a laid back girl that enjoys a quiet environment.  Loud noises scare her so much!  She is friendly with other dogs and does fine around children. Older children are preferred as the young ones often are too loud and rambunctious for her liking, sending her to run off and hide in a quiet spot. Yabbi is crate trained and doing very well potty training as long as she is kept on a regular schedule (as with any dog when potty training).  She is a little slow to warm up, but once she does she wants to be around her people. She loves sitting next to her people on the couch and sleeping in their bed with them.  Pets and belly rubs are a favorite!  Yabbi is the perfect companion for anyone wanting a buddy to hang out around the house with!  She would do best with a fenced in yard, as she is not great at leash walking yet. 

 

Unfortunately Yabbi tested heartworm positive and is currently going through treatment.  She will get her first injection at the beginning of September and could go to her new family shortly afterwards.  Her new family would then continue onward with her treatment until completed (more details can be discussed with any potential adopter). Needy Paws continues all costs of heartworm treatment.
