Fenced in Yard and Companion dog in home a must!
Snooks is a 6 year old, female, Black and Tan mini Dachshund! She has spent her whole life as a breeder and in a kennel! This little lady weighs 12 pounds and is as sweet as can be. She is friendly with all she meets!
Snooks is a bit shy and slow to warm up. That is to be expected when she has been exposed to SO many new things, such as family life, grass, treats and a loving touch in just a very short time frame.
Snooks is very friendly with other dogs, but has not expressed interest in playing with other dogs. She likes to cuddle and snuggle, soaking in all the love! She is showing an interest in toys, but unsure what to do with them yet.
Snooks is working on potty training and doing well. She will use pee pads if they are available to her. Snooks new family will have a secured fenced yard for her to explore all the new things outdoors has to offer. A companion dog in her new home is needed, while she may not be a playmate at this time, she enjoys snuggling with other dogs her size and following a confident dog will help her grow into a loving pet! A patient family is also a must for little Snooks, giving her time to come out of her shell and build trusting relationships.
