Meet "AUGUST", a Beautiful Female Maltese, 6 yr old (DOB 2/8/16), 10 lb

She was from a breeder with no love or human touch
.
AUGUST has REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST HAVE A SECURE FENCED YARD
- She's 99% potty trained but still has accidents usually at night.
- A QUIETER HOME since loud noises and lots of activity is scary for her.
- We think August would be better in home with NO CHILDREN, LESS ACTIVITY.
- NEEDS ANOTHER DOG in the home; SHE CANNOT BE THE ONLY DOG .
- She DOES NOT WALK ON LEASH YET. But hopefully will relax in time to understand leash.
- She will take treats from your fingers but still does it cautiously.
August is so sweet and SO CUTE! She REALLY wants to be a normal dog and is on her way!
Her forever family must be
VERY PATIENT and UNDERSTANDING.
She's been bred for 6 years; such a terrible beginning and we want the Best for her now!
Her PERFECT FAMILY would be home most of the day to continue her trust training and your current dog will help SHOW HER HOW TO BE A FAMILY DOG.

August’s adoption fee is $200.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
