This pretty girl is Shea.  She is a five year old husky with beautiful blue eyes. She had a crushed back leg that required amputation.  It’s been about four weeks now and she’s adjusted extremely well.  She will run out with the others dogs including the deck stairs  She’s on the small size at about 40 lbs but could stand a few pounds but not too much to put extra strain on her remaining back leg.

She is a very happy girl and doing well with the other four dogs in her foster home (including another female husky) from a 15 lb JR mix to a 60 lb Shepherd mix.  She loves her crate and will hang out there.  She’s had a few accidents but to be expected with adjusting to her Recent amputation and spay.  She’s a very sweet and happy girl and loves getting attention from her foster mom.

If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Shea’s adoption fee is $200.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
