*** FENCE REQUIRED AND COMPANION DOG***

Ross is the sweetest boy! He was released from a backyard breeder where he was very abused. He is scared of men, loud noises, fireworks, and the dark. He is house broken and does OK on leash and rides well in a car. He is heartworm positive and going in for his last injections Aug 11 and will be ready for his forever home after that. He loves his crate which is great, as he needs to have reduced activity for a few months due to his heartworm treatment. Ross loves tennis balls, bones and soft toys. He loves hugs, kisses and butt rubs. This loving little dude will make a great companion for a quiet home, where people just like to chill out on the couch. He is good with all his foster dog friends, cats and most likely older considerate children as he is so gentle, but noisy busy kids will frighten him. If you are interested in this nugget please apply below. He will need a confident dog in the home to be his mentor and make him feel safe.

If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Ross’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
