Josette (Josie) is a one year old fluffy mix of a girl! We suspect she may be part Australian Shep.
What we do know is this girl is a fluffy bunch of goodness! She is so happy that she has a hard time containing her wiggly butt. This resulted in Josie having “happy tail”. After not being able to get it healed, it was determined by her vet it was in Josie’s best interest to have her tail amputated. This has not stopped Josie’s happy spirit, she continues to wiggle her hiney and give huge smiles!
Josie is dog friendly and absolutely LOVES kids! She is not a fan of cats and has demonstrated her opinion on cats will not be changed. Josie can not go to home that has cats, as she does intend to hurt them. Josie is housebroke and crate trained. She enjoys laying on the deck and sunbathing or catching the evening breeze! Josie loves her toys, squeaks are her favorite!
Josie weighs about 47 pounds. She is starting to look for her perfect family while she is waiting for her tail to heal. She should be ready to go to her new home the beginning of June!

Josette's adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
