We can all agree we need a little more kindness in our world. Well, here you go!
Ally came to us from southern Missouri after her owner died. She had two fur siblings who went to other rescues groups. She is heartworm positive and that is the only reason we can think of that this sweet girl was left behind. She is 6 years old, totally potty trained and crate trained, walks perfectly on a leash and has a gentle and kind soul. She loves snuggling, belly rubs, and meeting new people and doggy friends. Non-reactive to cats. We expect she would be fine with kids because she is so mellow and gentle. Ally is being treated for her heartworm right now and isn’t always feeling the best, but her tail is always wagging when her foster mom is around. She gets her 2 nd and 3 rd shots on April 21 and 22 and will need rest time to recuperate again so a home that can give her some peace and quiet would be best. She is very cooperative about resting and being quiet, and pretty much about anything we ask of her. She would be fine with another dog in the home or equally fine with being the only pet. Everyone who meets her, loves her!
She is lovely inside and out, very cuddly, wagging her tail constantly and so anxious to find her forever home.
If you are interested, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Ally’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
