Meet Skipper! This sweet little girl is obsessed with SNUGGLING. No matter the time of day, she loves nothing more than burrowing deep under the covers to cuddle with you. She even gives hugs! She would love to find a forever home where she is allowed to sleep on the furniture, especially the "people beds."
Skipper is 2 years old, about 13 lbs, and a dachshund/terrier mix. She enjoys spending time with her family, giving kisses, and doing "zoomies" in the yard. She is submissive with new people and will growl at them to show that she is nervous. She seems to warm up to women a little quicker than men, but as long as her new friends allow her to approach them at her own pace, she will adore anybody...men included! Skipper is fine with other dogs as long as they don't try to play too rough with her.
Skipper is potty trained except for some submissive urination when she is startled or scared. She'll whine in her crate for a while but will eventually settle down. Due to her personality, she would do best in a quieter home with no young children. Small dogs can live well into their teens, so please keep that in mind when planning for a future with Skipper.

Skipper's adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
