Murphy is a very handsome brindle dog. Per the DNA test he is german shepherd, bulldog and malamute. He is tall and weighs about 90 lbs.  He is housebroke and crate trained.  He has been through obedience training and knows place, sit, stay, come, lie down and fetch. He walks nicely on a leash. He has been to dog parks and does well with other dogs.  He was adopted out as a puppy to a family with 3 kids and he was returned due to a bite so we are adopting him to a home without any kids under 12. He is actually very well behaved and we hope we can find the right home for him.  He takes just a bit to warm up to new people but then he is fine. He may be protective over a bone or toys, so it would be easier to just let him have them in his crate. His birthday is 2-10-20 so he will be 2 yrs old in another month. Help us find him a home before his birthday.

Murphy’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
