Meet Rudee!
He's 31 pounds and we believe he's a lab/hound mix. He's got the face of a lab, but with a long body and short legs. He has a hound like bark, but doesn't bark a lot.
The vet thinks he's a year old but foster mom thinks a bit younger because of his puppy tendencies. He still likes to play bite, and gets objects in the house confused with his toys. He's very gentle, though, so the "bites" don't hurt and he hasn't caused any damage. He also listens when you tell him "no."
He's crate trained and almost completely potty trained.
He's people and dog friendly. A fur sibling is preferred in his forever home, but not required. He loves to play and snuggle & has medium energy. A fenced in yard is also preferred, but not required. Rudee hasn't met a stranger, everyone is his friend. He's a very confident little boy that loves new people.
He really is one of the sweetest and best dogs. He's cuddly, playful, gentle and very well behaved. He is also the best at giving puppy dog eyes; the pictures say it all!

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Rudee’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
