This little turkey is all puppy!  Chowder is a male tri-colored Beagle.  He is about a year old and 23 pounds. Chowder was found in a very rural area.  He was so scared scared of people he had to trapped to be taken in.  Since then he is blossoming into the most funny, loving little fella!  He absolutely loves all dogs, especially ones that will play with him!  He is learning people are nice and usually have yummy treats for him. Chowder loves to gather and hide everything.  If you have lost something, Chowder may know where it is but he’s not telling you!

Chowder’s new family will need to have patience and give him the opportunity to earn his trust.  He also will need to have a dog sibling in his new home, both for fun playful time and also a means to continue showing Chowder people are trustable.  A fenced yard is a must for him.  He has most likely never been on a leash and gets frightened when leashed.  
Once this guy settles in, his playful puppy personality can’t be contained!  Chowder is housebroke.  He is not fond of being crated and will use the song of the breed to let you know his dislike.

Choder’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
