Maree is timid when she meets new people and might back away or growl a little at first, but she warms up quickly. Once she gets to know you, she will want to spend all her time with you and sniff your face every chance she gets. She is doing great with her potty training and loves to run around the fenced backyard at her foster home. She is good in her crate and the car. She'll bark to alert you to any strange people or noises outside the house and sometimes she'll "talk" to you if she requires your attention. She enjoys sleeping with her foster mom at night and would enjoy having another small or medium dog to play with. Probably no young children for Maree since she gets scared by sudden movements and noises, but she would be fine with older children in her family as long as they are gentle with her.
