Chigi is a happy girl. She appears to be a chihuahua/daschund, corgi mix and is 20 pounds (doing great on her weight loss journey). She is living at her foster moms house right now with two tiny chihuahuas and they all coexist just fine! Chigi’ favorite thing is to go on walks!!! By walks I mean walk and run! She will spin and jump when you say walk or pick up her leash. She likes to chew on bones and play with toys and get pets from anyone she can. 

While on walks she will bark and lunge at any dogs that pass by but she is kept on her harness and we will just keep walking until she can’t see the other dog. She has been around children and likes to jump up out of excitement and try to get pets and licks especially if she doesn’t know them. She barks at strangers coming into the house and the mailman but is a very sweet dog once she is comfortable. She likes to sleep on the couch or the floor and snore. She will pee multiple times during one walk or one time of being let outside so she needs someone to be patient with her. 

She has been in two homes prior and was surrendered both times at no fault of her own. She is looking for her forever forever home.

Chigi’s adoption fee is $125.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
