Mavis is looking for a soft lap to lay in and a family who likes to walk. She is a mature beagle mix about 8y. who lost her mom to dementia and was not able to go with her to the nursing home. She is super cuddly and likes to stay close to her humans. She loves bones and balls, she entertains herself nicely. She is perfectly mannered, house broken and sleeps in a crate at night. Mavis has full access to house during the day with zero issues. She is older and has osteoarthritis in her knees and mild hip dysplasia, but joint supplements are helping her stay active and it does not slow her down. She is a lady who likes to go places! Car rides are her favorite and she is good on the leash! She likes to bark at strangers in her home, but all she needs is treats and reassurance from her humans and she settles down. Mais is super sweet and loving with dogs, cats and people. Due to the barking, a calm home without young kids would be best and will not do well in apartment setting.

Mavis2’s adoption fee is $125.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
