Dayze is a 1 1/2 year old Anatolian Shepherd mix.  Please research this breed before considering adopting.   She’s a good size at 70+ lbs.   Dayze is housebroken and crate trained.   She is doing well in the home with the 17 lb dog.  She has had a few confrontations with the 50 and 65 lb dog in the home.  Typically over bones and such.   UPDATE:   She is doing very well with the larger dogs in the home now.  She just Needed time to settle in.   Also believe she would be good as an only dog.  She is very sweet to her foster mom and is easy going in the house    Anatolian shepherds were bred to be guard dogs and she definitely takes that job seriously in the yard by warning barking (or greeting) to anyone she is not familiar with.   This likely will subside as she becomes more comfortable in her environment.   UPDATE:   This has definitely subsided as she had become familiar and comfortable in her surrounds.  She is a very sweet girl and great in the house.

If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
