Meet Bluebell - she is a beautiful Weimaraner mix, approximately 2 years old, and weighs about 75 pounds. She is very well-behaved in the house, never goes potty inside, never chews on anything but her toys, and hardly ever barks. She knows sit, down, stay, come, and shake and is crate trained, but does not really need to be crated. Bluebell loves people of all sorts and has been very good with kids, but she is large and energetic, so a family with small children may not be ideal. She is very affectionate with her people and will snuggle with them on the couch, chair, or bed. Bluebell is generally calm and laid back but also loves to play with toys, go for car rides, and especially loves going for walks (or runs). She walks pretty well on a leash, but has a very strong prey drive that causes her to want to chase small animals. She would do best with a large yard so she can really run. A secure fence of at least 4 feet is a must as Bluebell is very athletic and can jump quite high when excited. Bluebell is about as close to perfect as a dog can get, but there is no such thing as perfect. Her one potential issue is that she does not really like other dogs and has to be the only dog in the house. If that is not a problem for you, then you really cannot find a better dog than Bluebell!

Bluebell’s adoption fee is $75.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
