FLIGHT RISK: This beautiful lady is Mama Bear she is named that because being tied up as a back yard breeder she’s had several litters of puppies. Mama Bear is sweet totally non-aggressive and very very skittish she doesn’t trust people easily she is dog friendly doesn’t even acknowledge cats. Mama will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard to exercise in she needs to be with another non-aggressive confident dog. She has learned to walk on a harness but not a collar it reminds her of being chained. I believe Mama would do fine in a family that has children. You will need a lot of patience with Mama before she ever warms up to you. If you have patience and willing to put in the time to help this gorgeous sweet lady come out of her shell then fill out an application to meet her.

If you are interested, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Mama Bear’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
