Meet SUNDANCE, a Beautiful Female, 6 yr old, 7 lb Maltese.
=>She was from a breeder with no love or human touch. She is EXTREMELY SHY and it has taken 2 months to get her to trust her foster parents although she still runs when you want to pick her up.
She came to us with a malformed eye that did not function so we had it taken care of. She does great with one eye.
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF you can give her a LOT of time, patience and love while taking care of her needs including letting her USE POTTY PADS INSIDE THE HOME
and in return she will continue to grow each day learning to be a normal dog and trusting you as a family.
SUNDANCE has REQUIREMENTS:
- She DOES BARK so NO APARTMENTS / NO CONDOS
- A QUIET home, NO Children
- A MUST is she NEEDS ANOTHER CONFIDENT DOG in the home; she CANNOT BE THE ONLY DOG.
- 90% of the time, She WILL POTTY OUTSIDE, HOWEVER, still uses POTTY PADS INSIDE randomly and during Rain Storms.
- A SECURE FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED in case she would escape out door.
- She is NOT Leashed trained and that may come in time.
Sundance is so sweet but really DOES NOT understand how to love and be a family dog. Your dog will help with that. Foster parent has small steps up to the sofa and Sundance uses those steps to lay on sofa. She does not like sitting in your lap, but once she feels safe with you, she will lay on sofa next to you. THIS WILL BE THE BEST TIME TO LOVE ON HER AND GAIN HER TRUST.

Sundance’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
