*** FENCED YARD ** LIKES RESPONSIBLE KIDS *** ANOTHER SMALL DOG IN HOME TO PLAY WITH *** NO or FEW STEPS ***
I'm BEETLE nicknamed "Beetle Bug"!
A 2 yr old 10 lb Shih Tzu, rescued from a breeder where I spent 2 years in a cage.
**** My Perfect Forever Family would understand RETIRED BREEDER DOGS, have a fenced yard, another little dog I can play with AND a LOT of SQUEAKY TOYS! ****
My foster mom said I must tell you some things:
* I'm very playful feisty pup and would LOVE to play with another dog in your home.
* I'd like a semi-Quiet home; a lot of noise stresses me.
* Responsible kids because I want them to love me and not scare me.
* I can play toys with you or entertain myself with toys, especially those that
SQUEAK
!!!
* My back legs are not as strong as I'd like, so few or no steps would be great.
* She said to tell you
I like to chew stuff like a puppy does
; plastic from cardboard & cardboard, papers from her desk, and she caught me dragging those small steps from the sofa to the other side of room to chew the material! lol!!
* I am
NOT HOUSEBROKEN; I potty outside on the concrete 75% of the time but still have accidents inside. I'm still trying
because it's hard from being in cage for 2 years. She said I'm a "work in progress"!
* I still
spin in circles when pottying, when stressed or excited to eat!
which is common in retired breeder dogs.
* a fenced yard would be great to keep me safe.
* I'm
learning to walk on leash

Beetle’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
