Pico is a sweet, 11# chihuahua mix.  He gets along great with other small dogs.  He's a bit put off with larger dogs.  He will settle in once he realizes the big dog is not a threat to him.  He's very cautious when he first meets new people but relaxes fairly quick.  He loves going out the doggy door to sunbathe when the weather is good.  He's potty trained with an occasional accident overnite.  He is a velcro dog to his person and must sleep undercovers in bed with them. He also loves to burrow under blankets on the couch.  He's a great companion for any human.  He will not potty on leash and requires a secure fence.  No birds as he tries to eat them in the yard. He loves chewing on bones, playing fetch with his toys and entertains himself.    If you're looking for a couch & bed buddy, he's your guy.

Pico’s adoption fee is $195.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
