About Lancelot | |
|
|
Lancelot is a 5 month old shep/lab/newfoundland mix. He is estimated to be a very big boy, around 100lbs. He is currently about 44lbs. He is a really sweet and friendly boy, he gets very excited when meeting people and is currently working on his manners. He is dog friendly, he loves playing with his foster siblings. He is good with kids, but since he is so big, floppy, and still working on his manners he may accidentally knock smaller children over. He does well in a crate, he stays in there when left alone in the home, but he sleeps in the bedroom on his favorite cooling mat. He is doing well with potty training, he has only had a few accidents in the home since he's been here. He is currently learning how to walk on a leash. He will let you put on a harness and leash, he is just unsure about what it is and what to do, he just kind of sits there and looks at you. He is definitely all puppy, he's clumsy, floppy, mischievous, curious, and gets scared by everything loud. He barks at stuff when it scares him and occasionally other dogs when they bark at him. He will need a fenced in yard. A companion dog would be great for Lancelot, as he is a very playful pup and a playmate would help him expend his energy.
