Avalanche is a sweet and playful lady. She is friendly with other dogs and small children. "Ava", as her foster mom calls her, picks up commands and routine quickly, she's very active but also has an "off" button, she would love to have a family of her own to cuddle on the couch.
 
Avalanche is a talker, she likes to verbalize and barks at passing people, squirrels, and falling leaves. No one will be getting the jump on you with her around, but she would not do well in an apartment as your neighbors may not appreciate her boisterous nature. She is good in her crate but will cry if she is locked up while you are home.
 
Avalanche completed heartworm treatment. Please inquire for more information. Secure fence required, Avalanche does not jump fences but will find holes or weak points and push under the fence. 

If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Avalanche’s adoption fee is $100.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
