Hydrocephalus a condition that causes fluid buildup in his head
He takes prednisone, keppra & omeprazole which keeps him in check
Meet Chewey! He's a 2 year old, 20 lb CavaPoo.
He's got Hydrocephalus a condition that causes fluid buildup in his head. He's on prednisone, keppra & omeprazole which keeps him in check.
He needs to see a Neurologist every 6 months to be sure everything stays in check.
He goes on potty pads and will go outside sometimes.
Loves toys, bones of any kind and sitting on your lap. He has gone to doggy day care and plays all day with other dogs.
Chewy is overly affectionate, loving little boy.
Walks well on leash and rides quietly in the car.
He does have frontal lobe damage so he doesn't understand commands .
He's great with dogs, cats and kids. He eat treats away from other dogs to avoid scuffles.
He's really a sweet boy, just has some issues. He was adopted last year but being returned. This little boy needs a Forever Family!
If you can deal with all the above, love him for who he is, he will be a fun dog.

Our $275 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
Special Needs: Hydrocephalus & Seizures, frontal lobe damage so doesn't understand commands.
