Hi! I’m Keller! I’m 18 months old and until I came to my foster mom’s house, I was living outside in a pen
with no real affection from humans. I’m a real sweet boy looking for my forever home. I’m really shy at
first, and new things are still a little scary, but I slowly come around and will cover you in kisses. I really
love my foster dog brother who is showing me how to be a normal dog, so I would do best in a home
where I had another dog friend. I now know how to play with him, and I’ve even started to play with
toys! I’m pretty mellow, but I do get the occasional zoomies because I’m still a young pup, so a fenced in
yard would be best for me! I’m learning how to walk on a leash, and learning that leashes aren’t so
scary. I need someone who will be patient with me while I learn how to be a normal dog. I’m house
trained, and kennel trained. I prefer to be where you are, but sometimes I get overwhelmed and like to
have my own quiet place. So far I’ve been a little weary of men, but I eventually warm up to them. I
haven’t been around any cats, but I definitely don’t like squirrels and I am not hesitant to let them know
my feelings when they’re in my yard. The only little kids I’ve been around are babies, and I just wanted
to cover them in kisses. Right now my foster mom is helping me learn not to jump on everyone when I
want attention – it’s just the first time I’ve felt love so I can’t help myself! I recently tried peanut butter
for the first time, and it was the best thing I’ve ever had!!

Keller’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
