Xomara will be 2 years old in March!  She was rescued from a hoarding situation where she was amongst multiple dogs with little human contact.  We are told she is a Cocker Spaniel/ Heeler mix, but doesn’t really look like either.  She is about 35 pounds and so very soft!  This girl is such a sweet girl that is yearning for love and attention!  She is very cautious and needs time and patience from her new family to allow her to build a trust.  She is good with all other animals and kids.  Xomara is potty trained, and learning what all the luxuries of indoor living have to offer!  She enjoys snuggling in her blankets.  Due to her lack of leash skills, Xomara will need a secure fenced yard to keep her safe and room to explore!  She has a fond liking for hot dogs!  If you have a hot dog, she will love you forever!

If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Xomara's adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
