BLIND

NEEDS SUBMISSIVE COMPANION DOG

Rye is a wonderful, gentle, and cuddly girl. She is blind but adapts really well to her environment. She is able to get around her foster family’s house, find her food and water bowl, and play with toys. She has learned sit and plays with her dog sibling in her foster home.
Rye’s ideal family must have a companion dog and minimal stairs for her safety. A fenced backyard would be a plus but not necessary. She likes to be outside sniffing around and going on walks.

She is potty trained and does fine confined to an area or in a crate. Rye would love to cuddle in your bed. She’s about 55 pounds. She hasn’t been around cats or kids but we are pretty sure she would do just fine. She is very sweet and loving.

If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Rye’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
