Meet Roscoe!
Roscoe is a 1ish year old husky mix that weighs in around 75lbs.
Talk about needy paws! This sweet fluff is completely potty trained and does wonderful in the home but he would MUCH rather be snuggled up next to you, getting all the scratches he can. Roscoe is a huge affection seeker! He loves to give hugs and kisses.
Although Roscoe is a big boy, he is a gentle giant. He loves to play with other puppy dogs, at their own pace, as well as human puppies (aka kids). He will give them both lots of kisses.
Roscoe is a kind soul, but still has the urge to chase kitties when given the opportunity. He has not been aggressive but I don’t think many cats like to be chased so I don’t know that I’d recommend a home with a cat.
We have been crating Roscoe at night but he’s most definitely not a fan. We think he would do well out on a doggy bed or in bed with you (if you have the space).
Roscoe’s ideal home would be with any human(s) who can give him lots of love and attention. He does not take much supervision but requires LOTS of love and some space for him to romp around. He does pretty well on a leash but he loves his play time with our dogs. Definitely in the moderate energy level.
Roscoe knows “sit” but could benefit from a little more consistent training. Since he loves being around people so much, he’ll do just about anything to hang out so I think training would be a breeze - he just needs the consistency.

Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
Roscoe’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
