About Lyra | |
|
|
Lyra is as sweet and snuggly as they come! She loves, loves, loves her people! She can be slightly shy around new men, but warms up quickly. Her favorite activities are finding a lap to snuggle on and playing with doggo friends. She can be slightly shy when she meets a new dog, but within minutes has a new best friend! She shows no sign of any food aggression and shares treats and toys well with the other dogs in the house. She is potty trained and crate trained, but doesn't need to be kept in a crate. She has tons of fun meeting new dog and human friends at the dog park and is SUPER FAST and loves to just zoom around. She would do best in a home with another dog, as she is a bit shy and the dogs in our house have helped her build confidence and give her someone to play with. She will also try to play with her human friends, but can be a bit too mouthy. For this reason, she would do best in a home with older children, unless willing to work on breaking that habit. She walks well on a leash and doesn't pull. She does get excited when she sees other dogs on walks, she really wants to make new friends! But with minor re-direction she gets back to the important stuff- SNIFFING EVERYTHING.
