Major is a four year old, 85 pound lap dog and great company! Major
loves to be the center of attention and enjoys belly rubs, head
scratches, soaking up the sun in the living room, and walks around the
neighborhood! He is housebroken and knows basic commands. Major would
do fine if left out in the house for short periods of time, as well.
Major only barks when someone is at the door or making lots of noise
outside, he’s quiet otherwise (with an occasional snore!).

Major is currently in a house with two other dogs and does great. He
would do fine in a house by himself or in a house with another
laidback buddy! Major does not need a fenced backyard, but does enjoy
exploring in ours!

There’s a little more of Major to love! We are looking for someone who
would keep Major on track with his diet and maintain his exercise
schedule in order to help him lose a few pounds.

If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.

Major’s adoption fee is $250.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
